Kitchen Tools + Accessories

Leifheit’s new 2009 Comfortline features 42 innovative products. Some are modern twists on kitchen basics; others, clever new kitchen gizmos. Each item in this gleaming white and stainless steel collection was engineered to be durable, functional – and as the product line name implies – comfortable. The secret: sturdy, non-slip, soft-to-the-touch ABS plastic coupled with soft red thermoplastic. Comfortline is also dishwasher safe. This collection contains just about everything the modern kitchen needs.

The 2009 Leifheit Proline contains 29 elegant kitchen utensils, each designed to meet the demands of serious culinary creativity. These contemporary designs are forged from stainless steel and neat black plastic heat interrupters that also allow handles to be hung on the rim of a pot.

Leifheit introduces several new Soehnle kitchen scales in 2009, all featuring breakthrough design and function. The Optica, a slim, stainless steel gem that measures both liquid and dry foods with an extra large display; the Olympia and the Olympia Plus each with a large read-out and a roomy weighing platform (the later containing its own bowl); and the super-flat, glass-topped, circular Flip scale with sensor touch technology. Also in the line-up: bold new colors and designer-savvy limited edition patterns for the Page scale.

Tabletop

Leifheit’s beloved family of insulated carafes has expanded to include bold new contours and trendy new colors. Resembling a hefty frosted pitcher is the new Bolero in back, white, dark blue and coffee. Along more slender lines is the new Tondo, available in a shiny blue, white and red. Deep cranberry, denim dark blue and translucent lime green join the rainbow of the plump and popular Columbus. All Leifheit vacuum carafes are made with high-quality materials and double-wall, glass-lined construction that keeps one liter (8 cups) of liquid hot or cold for 12 hours. Added benefit: Leifheit’s unique push-button feature allows opening, pouring, and closing with just one hand.

Bathroom + Personal Care

Big news for 2009 in this category: The Soehnle Body Balance Slim FT5 was honored as a 2009 Housewares Design Award finalist. The sophisticated scale is perfect for athletes, but has features anyone with fitness interest will appreciate. In other news: a number of brand new models join the Soehnle personal wellness scale collection in 2009. The Body Balance Shape F3 and Body Balance Shape F4 are loaded with style and impressive body analysis features. Contemporary design and performance excellence are also featured in the new Body Control Signal F3, which determines body fat and water content in addition to body weight, as well as in the new Melody 2.0 and Pino 2.0., two stunning glass platform scales with auto-on function and large digital read-out. More basic but far from boring are the new Gala, with a large easy-to-read LCD display, and Gala XL, with an extra-large LCD display and a roomy platform for extra stability.

Cleaning Products + Stick Goods

The Power Delta Rechargeable Sweeper with a clever triangle-shaped design is the newest addition to Leifheit’s successful line of floor and carpet sweepers. This streamlined device uses swivel technology and five brushes to reach into corners, under furniture and over any floor, while picking up the most challenging residues, dirt and dust. Designed for 60 minutes of effortless and quiet operation. The Twister Mop Set has arrived. Engineered to take advantage of the centrifugal principal, this mop system flushes liquids and dirt particles with each twist of the mop. With each twist, the mop gets drier. It’s the first system to combine traditional string mop advantages with this type of technology. A pivoting joint and a curved edge are just two hallmarks of the new Flexi Pad Evo Shower and Tub Cleaner. Use the functional head alone for close-up scrubbing; add the telescoping handle for reaching up to 3.5 feet; count on the wrap-around microfiber pads to buff surfaces to brilliant shine. Throughout the Leifheit cleaning collection: new click-features, telescopic handles, and an eco-friendly washable replacement heads. Another novel cleaning tool is the 3-in-1 Window Cleaner. This device has a cleaning pad, squeegee, and window frame edge to make window cleaning easy.
